LICENSE STUDY PROGRAM - PEDAGOGY OF PRIMARY AND PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION [PIPP]

The Educational Program The Pedagogy of Primary and Pre-school Education (PIPP) within the Faculty of Education Sciences (FSEd), University of Piteşti was created to meet the new requirements regarding the qualification of the teaching staff in Primary and Pre-school Education, in accordance with the Bologna Declaration, with the provisions of the Law on National Education, no. 1/2011, as well as the recent changes in the educational systems of the European Union Member States.
This curriculum is intended for high-school graduates with a baccalaureate diploma as well as for Primary and Pre-school teachers without higher education (graduates of pedagogical high schools / normal schools / short-term education institutions). Graduates of this study program are licensed in the Science of Education, as teachers of Primary and Pre-school Education.
In the UPIT FSEd educational offer, the bachelor's degree program entitled The pedagogy of Primary and Pre-school education is integrated in the 5 locations - Piteşti, Câmpulung -Muscel, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Slatina and Alexandria. As a result of the ARACIS visits, the study programs of all 5 locations were accredited as follows: Piteşti and Campulung by HG 749 / 24.06.2009, Alexandria by HG 631 / 30.06.2010, Slatina and Râmnicu Vâlcea by HG 966 / 29.09.2011.
THE FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY PROGRAM The pedagogy of Primary and Pre-school Education aims at professionalization in the didactic career through the formation and development of the necessary competences for the effective realization of the professional roles in the Primary and Pre-school Education.
COMPETENCES PROVIDED BY THE LICENSE PROGRAM PEDAGOGY OF PRIMARY AND PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION
Designing tailored training or education programs for different age / training levels and target groups,
Carrying out activities specific to the educational process in Primary and Pre-school education,
Evaluating the learning processes, outcomes and progress of pre-school / small pupils,
The managerial approach of the group of Pre-school / small school pupils, the learning process and the learning / social integration activities specific to the age of the target group,
Counseling, orientation and psycho-pedagogical assistance of various categories of people / educational groups (pre-school / small school / pupils, families, teachers, employees, etc.),
Self-evaluation and continuous improvement of professional practices and career development.
Applying the principles and rules of professional deontology, based on explicit value options, specific to the specialist in Education Sciences
Effective cooperation in professional, interdisciplinary work teams, specific to the development of projects and programs in the field of Education Sciences
Use of effective lifelong learning methods and techniques for continuous professional development.
