 Brief description

The main objective of the Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Computers is to provide future specialists in the area of cutting edge technology and engineering with high quality education. The higher education in the area of applied electronics has a tradition of more than 23 years at the University of Pitesti.

Established on the basis of the Romanian Government Decision No 866 from Oct. 28th 1999 as the Faculty of Electronics and Electromechanics, it became the Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Computers in 2005. Now, according to the Bologna Regulation System, the faculty manages 4 study programs of bachelor, 3 master study programs and PhD studies.

Since 2004 the faculty has had a branch in the municipality Ramnicu-Valcea.

With a valuable teaching staff, profiting by a modern infrastructure and by the continuously developing laboratory facilities, the faculty’ managing staff are permanently focused on the improving of the education quality and also on the quality of the students’ lives.
