PRESENTING THE CONFERENCE

    The aim of this Conference is to create a debate conference concerning the great challenges which the contemporary society addresses to education of everywhere: globalization, interculturality, development, communication, partnership.
    The participants will be invited to discuss about the priorities of education in the beginning of this millennium, about multiplying the functions belonging to education within the Knowledge Society, about increasing the role of the school institutions at the local communities' level, about ways of innovating the teaching & learning processes.

    Opportunities for developing open discussions concerning the role of the professional associations and communities of the pedagogues (educators) and also concerning the initial & continuing training of the didactic staff will be created.
    The conference is equally opened to researchers, educational policies makers, strategists, managers and educators which are performing their activity in classrooms and in non-formal & informal educational organizations as well.

All registered papers will be peer-reviewed. The papers selected by the Scientific Commitee will be published, in extenso, in the Conference Workbook.
    The official language of the conference is English.
